The hosts of the Euro Cup 2012 will be facing Sweden on 11th June on their home ground. It will be a battle for glory. Both the teams will be playing to their fullest and all this will just be more exciting to watch after the Group D opener; England vs France on the same day. On the other side the co host, Poland for Euro 2012 has already drawn its first game against Greece by 1-1.
Ukraine has taken full advantage of the opportunity to make a debut as it owns the home field. They would be depending upon their star players like Andrey Voroninto take the front line and play some great football. Young midfielders like Andry Yarmolenko and Yevhen Konoplyanka would be covering his back. Nevertheless Ukraine is going through its first experience in the cup.
However Sweden has a lot of history behind it in the competition. They won all ten of their qualifiers for the Euro 2012. More interestingly, the team’s substitutes have scored seven goals; which are more goals than any other team in the tournament. So it would be quite possible that Sweden will shoot in the beginning and defend the field later.
